Situated within the Dartmoor National Park in the heart of Devon’s Teign Valley, natural and manmade waterfalls tumble down ancient rock formations to meet the tranquil lakes below, offering some of the most spectacular waterfall and woodland scenery in Devon. A breathtaking sight, described by one visitor as “one of the most idyllic places on earth”, wildlife thrives in the peace and tranquillity that makes the Falls a haven for both adults and children alike. Mossy pathways lead you on three scenic walks catering for all ages and abilities, the main waterfall walk takes you on a climb up 90 Victorian Steps into our stunning Victorian Fern garden located in a hanging valley below the top of our highest waterfall. Sturdy footwear is a must, be prepared for a climb but the views are the most amazing reward!
Perfect for outdoor adventure, our children's play area with our 30m zip wire, wooden play galleon’s, trampolines and children’s mini assault course and hidden willow dinosaurs to spot, offers plenty to keep the children entertained. Canonteign Cafe and Outdoor Snack bar serves homemade food and locally sourced refreshment. Complete the trip with a browse in our shop which specialises in lifestyle gifts from boutique suppliers and local artisans.
