Canonteign Falls welcomes new guest artist Lucy Beagley – launch day Saturday 13th September

Imagine popping into Canonteign Kitchen for that much-needed coffee or lunch with friends, and being greeted by delicate watercolour paintings of Devon’s native wildlife, all created by a local illustrator who lives just down the road. That’s exactly what awaits you from the beginning of September until we close for the season, as we welcome Devon artist Lucy Beagley to our café gallery.

Who is Lucy Beagley?

Lucy Beagley is a talented illustrator based in the beautiful Teign Valley, Devon. Her work is steeped in the quiet magic of the local landscape. Specialising in watercolours, Lucy captures the textures and colours of birds, plants and animals you might spot here at Canonteign Falls or even in your own garden.

Her illustrations feel whispered from the natural world around us: delicate, detailed and deeply rooted in place. It’s fair to say her art feels like a warm greeting from nature itself.
