Canonteign Quiz

Jenny Tamblyn has written the poem of the month about her trip to Canonteign Falls.

Title 'She said'

'Just a gentle slope' she said
'And then ninety steps to the top'
'Should take about an hour' she said
'Maybe a bit more if you stop'
'Watch out for all the birds' she said
'There're lots about as a rule'
But we only spotted chiffchaffs
Splashing about in a pool.
We found it was a long hard climb
Lots more steps than we had heard
But we enjoyed the walk, the peace and time
Passed quickly, and then down for lunch!
