Products made by local craftsmen Home Farm Cafe is now open for the 2009 season. The wonderful aroma of freshly ground Italian coffee is irresistable as is the sight of freshly baked cakes and scones! We support suppliers of locally grown and cooked foods. Our menu has enough choices to suit our customers and do look out for our specials board during busier times. A great place to come with a friend for one of our scrumptious Devon Cream Teas, or try our special which is a cup of tea and a hot-cross-bun for £2.80. A local photographer called John A Howells will be exhibiting his work in our cafe. These wonderful framed pictures are for sale and for those keen photographers John will be running a series of photographic courses in the beautiful surroundings of Canonteign Falls. Home Farm Shop is being woken up and given a face lift with exciting new producs made by local craftsmen. Not only do we see the return of Devon Glass Studio, Rob's Woodturning, Dizzie Lizzie Blankets, Devon Natural soaps, also handmade cards and jewellery. New for 2009 is Jo making beautiful pottery items and Jane with some unusual ceramics. Simply Silk have a stunning selection of glass items covered in silk and patterned tissue paper! A great opportunity to find an unusual gift and all handmade in Devon! During April we will see the arrival of our personalised jute bags, just mention the web site when purchasing one and you will receive 10% off the recommended retail price. |
